The power of focus

“The power of focus” este o carte utila pentru cei ce vor sa faca schimbari majore in viata.

Specificul sau e ca fiecare capitol se incheie cu un plan de actiuni ( action steps ) care necesita a fi parcurse. Capitolele sunt bine structurate si organizate, dupa cum urmeaza :

  • Obiceiuri
  • Focus
  • Obiective
  • Relatii
  • Confidenta
  • Persistenta

La sfarsitul postului am atasat mindmap-ul cartii.

Mai jos pasajele mele favorite :

“It takes real commitment to create positive transformation . That’s why more than 90 percent of people who attend short-term seminars see no improvement in their lives. They don’t take the time to implement what they learn and all of their notes usually end up collecting dust.”

“Life doesnt just happen to you. Its all about choices and how you respond to every situation”

“If you want to distance yourself from the masses and enjoy a unique lifestyle, understand this-your habits will determine your future”

“Negative habits breed negative consequences. Successful habits create positive rewards. Thats just the way life is”

“Your everyday normal behavior has a lot to do with the results in your life. If youre not happy with these results, something has to change”

“your outward behavior is the truth, whereas your inner perception of your behavior is often an illusion”

“You must invest most of your time every week doing what you do best, and let others do what they do best”

“When you focus most of your time and energy doing the things you are truly brilliant at, you eventually reap big rewards”

“If you spend too much time working on your weaknesses, all you end up with is a lot of strong weaknesses”

“A GOAL IS THE ONGOING PURSUIT OF A WORTHY OBJECTIVE UNTIL ACCOMPLISHED”

“A GOAL WITHOUT A NUMBER IS JUST A SLOGAN”

“THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS UNREALISTIC GOALS, ONLY UNREALISTIC TIME FRAMES”

“If you are currently in a business arrangement with one or more partners, or are considering one in the future, always plan your exit strategy first, before you get too involved. Make sure its in writing”
